The solo exhibition features the recent watercolours and prints by Indrapramit Roy. The artworks displayed are steeped in a shared irony of life, experienced and realized by almost all of us in recent times perhaps more intensely and deeply than ever before.

At the edge of the city of Baroda, where the artist lives, the new buildings, constructed before the Covid-19 Pandemic, came to a sudden halt. Their eerie and empty scaffolding, with the porcupine-like exteriors in the silence of the deserted city, had a strange resemblance to cacti in the desert. Revisiting his old journals and drawings, he created a series of works that conflated these elements.
