Jr Social Media Manager
Responsibilities:
 
1. On-Ground Content Creation [For Art Fervour and Client Accounts]:
  • Shoot images + videos and produce art-related content for social media by attending and covering exhibitions, talks, workshops, gallery openings and previews etc.
  • Conduct in-person interviews with artists/professionals to shoot and create such content – including Q&As, testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage etc.
  • Editing video content to make final reels either from content that has been shot by us or shared with us by external parties.
  • Live coverage of certain events through live posting on Instagram stories, creation + execution of reels while at the event etc.
2. Social Media Execution [For Art Fervour and Client Accounts]:
  • Scheduling and execution of posts (posting) – as per content calendars – across various platforms and accounts.
  • Management and maintenance of the social media profiles/pages — including regular hygiene checks and updates.
  • Online reputation and response management by responding to DMs, comments etc. + filtering those which need to be shared with the client or Art Fervour internal team to respond to.
  • Compile social media reports by consolidating and analysing metrics, data, analytics to identify key insights, trends, performance indicators and providing recommendations for optimisation and improvement.

Requirements | Prerequisites | Qualifications:

  • Bombay-based | Full time | Remote working | 6 days a week (Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM + Alternate/Bank Saturdays).
  • Flexibility to work outside regular work and office hours and on weekends to cover events and activities effectively + be available for client requirements outside work hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Media, Journalism, Communications, Filmmaking, Editing, Design, Art History, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Creator (1-3 years) or a similar role – preferably in the art industry – with a demonstrated track record of successful content creation for social media campaigns.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design, detail and visual aesthetics, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Strong visual communicator and storyteller – proficient in videography, photography, editing and reel-making.
  • Ability to research and compile visual references + create moodboards etc. with a pulse of the latest on-going trends in pop culture, the digital space and/or art world.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends with an analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and with the project teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on in-house projects and also optimise content creation for different client projects as per the brand persona and guidelines.
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads) is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in arts and culture space is a plus.
Since this is a remote role, there is a requirement to operate on your own devices – i.e. Laptop and Smartphone. For a smartphone, it is recommended to use the latest Apple iPhone for the best camera and recording quality.

  8. Manage and organize the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and meet deadlines. 
  9. Overseeing the development and launch of new content channels.
  10. Monitor content performance based on the analytics shred and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Research, Art History, or a related field.
  2. A strong command of the English language, a deep appreciation for art, cultural trends and a knack for creative writing and storytelling 
  3. Proven experience as a Content Writer (1-3 years) preferably in the art industry.
  4. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  5. Has experience in SEO and Ad based content and blogs 
  6. Research skills with the ability to gather information, pictures, interviews etc.  from diverse sources.
  7. Well read, with current affairs especially in the world and ability to connect them with company content requirements.
